Felix Che Groll performed his first solo recital at the age of 12, in September 2011.
His engagements have taken him to the summer festival at Schloss Britz in Berlin and the Stadttheater Bad Hall in Austria. He has also performed song recitals in venues such as Bayreuth’s "Villa Wahnfried." For two seasons he was a member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Oberpfalz, playing the leadrole of Leopold in Im weissen Rössl. In April 2025, he will make his debut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as Lehrbube in Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Music Nuremberg, studying with KS Prof. Brigitte Geller and participating in the song class of Prof. Marcelo Amaral. Since 2022, Felix has been pursuing a Master’s degree in Opera at the Berlin University of the Arts.
In addition to his studies, he has attended masterclasses with Brigitte Fassbaender, Christiane Iven, and Edith Wiens.
Last year, he started his Fachwechsel from baritone to tenor. Prior to this change, the young singer appeared in roles such as Count Eberbach in Lortzing’s Der Wildschütz, Marcello in Puccini’s La Bohème, and Papageno in Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
Additionally, Felix also directs selected projects. He has taken on the male title roles in Goethe’s Faust: Part One, Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, and Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, all in productions staged by himself.
